This Easy Healthy Chocolate Banana Bread is gluten-free, dairy-free and refined sugar-free and it is still absolutely delicious. This recipe is a variation from the blog’s famous Healthy Banana Bread. In this edition I tested out a chocolate spin for the kids and it was a huge win, they love it and I am sure you will too.
As you might have guessed given all the chocolate blog posts recently, my kids love all things that look like chocolate. That’s why I keep transforming old favourites into something new just like this chocolate banana bread recipe. I did the same for the chocolate breakfast cookies, chocolate fudge brownies, double chocolate cookies, and chocolate loaf.
Each week I bake something new up for healthy snacks for the family. It’s nice to easily switch up a staple with something that is a little bit new for a few reasons. The first reason is to avoid food boredom or food ruts. The second is that we usually have the essential ingredients already in our pantry. The third is that it’s really easy because you know you have made it before so there are no big surprises. The last reason is that I love creating new things to share even more fun recipes with all of you. So be sure to drop a comment on the recipes that you are loving so I can keep making more of what you are enjoying.

Bananas are a great way to naturally sweeten recipes with real whole foods which is amazing because it means you do not have to add in much sugar or alternative sweeteners. Bananas are also a great source of potassium, vitamin B6 and vitamin C. They are also high in soluble fibre, this can help regulate blood sugar levels. Bananas are also full of antioxidants which help to protect the body from oxidative damage caused by free radicals. Each ingredient in this recipe is carefully selected to provide your body (and your families) with the most amount of nutrition possible, while still keeping it really tasty.
