Can you believe we are nearing the end of August already? Summer is amazing but sometimes it can be busy which can lead to missed workouts, poorer food choices or falling off your self-care game. If you are nodding yes right now don’t worry I have great news! Transitions are the perfect time to reflect on what might be out of alignment in your life for your highest health and to create the changes you desire.
What does alignment mean anyway?
When things are in alignment in your life things flow easily, you feel calm and a sense of ease, you sleep well, eat well most of the time and the overall vibe is positive. When things fall out of alignment you might find everything is harder than it needs to be, you are tired all the time and lacking energy, you might be making poor food choices more often than you would like to admit, basically you just are not doing the things you know make you feel your best.
If you look up the definition you will find the following from the Oxford Dictionary:
- arrangement in a straight line or in correct or appropriate relative positions example: the tiles slipped out of alignment
- a position of agreement
Love both definition so I’ll ask you this, what does your mind, body and soul FEEL like when they are in a position of agreement?
Take some time to sit with the question and reflect.
Here are 11 Journal Prompts to help you.
Aligning Your Life Become Easier When You Listen to Your intuition.
Intuition can speak to you through an inner voice that comes from the body’s wisdom not the mind. The problem is that sometimes your mind will speak louder than your intuition, this can lead you to you going against what is actually best for you. The good news is that once you begin listening to your intuition the stronger it gets and you will also recognize when the mind is trying to take over.
Intuition can also come through your body’s wisdom through feelings. What are your feelings trying to tell you?
The common mistake I often see when working with clients and the general public is that people don’t take time to listen, get quiet and reflect alone. It is a lot harder to get clarity when you never ask, or take time to be alone. If you are feeling out of alignment how can you spend some time alone in your favourite place or space and just be, ask, notice what comes up?
Individuals can connect to their intuition in a number of ways, the idea is to find what works for you. Here are a few suggestion on how you can begin to tune in on a deeper level.
3 Ways To Into Your Intuition To Align Your Life
- Meditation – spend time with your breath and quiet the mind and tune into your heart centre. Even 5 minutes a day can create amazing connections and change.
- Journal – use this journal guide to help you find more clarity on your life so you can take inspired action to create a life you love.
- Tap into what lights you up or your creativity – when you are in the zone everything else seems to fall away and you can plug into your mind, body and soul. It is different for everyone so know that you might need to try a few things to see what works for you. One person might love to draw or create art another might love to cook or walk in the woods. I like to think of it light a moving meditation that always feels like medicine for your soul.
