In today’s episode I am so excited to change the conversation around food, nutrition and healthy eating when it comes to New Year’s goals. For years the diet industry has used this time of year to sell their Products, Meal Plans & quick fix Fad Diets all rooted in telling us that we are not enough the way we are. The problem is that often these restriction plans begin a cycle of eating really well while following the plan & can lead to overeating when you fall off the plan. It can cause an all or nothing mentality when it comes to eating, honestly I see it so often. It can also lead to a cycle of not listening to the wisdom of your body & glorifying restriction/starving yourself with bland food that doesn’t satisfy which can lead to more food cravings. It can also cause a lot of internal mental battles on whether you should eat the thing, or avoid it & feelings of guilt or shame if you give in.
For today’s episode I wanted to share simple ways that you can eat healthier right away without following a diet. It will help you create a healthy lifestyle that you will actually want to follow because it tastes really good and feels even better. Did I also mention you can start today?
